It looks like we're in store for yet another bromantic comedy vehicle for Paul Rudd this March when I Love You, Man hits theaters. Now, we all know that I'm a fan of the genre, but does anyone get the feeling that Rudd's getting typecasted with these roles. It just feels like he's always the bromantic/romantic lead, the sidekick, or the other guy in his movies. I'm not really complaining, just pondering.
The trailer for I Love You, Man came out, and I did have a few hearty laughs while watching it:
This time around, it doesn't feel as original as The Forty-Year-Old Virgin or even Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but it has Paul Rudd AND Jason Segel. You really can't go wrong with that combo. I'll definitely be checking it out, but I'm not expecting it to WOW me...then again, I said the same thing about Virgin.
